It’s TN Christmas time!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas my friends! Well … in the stores anyways lol!
And, just like you, I’m all about enjoying the wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, but in between, I’m getting ready for the Christmas holiday in my TN’s and Planners!

Everywhere you go
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow”
Those of you that have been following me a while, know I love to decorate my TN’s in groups of three! So here we go … three Holly Jolly TN’s!
This set will document 3 Holiday’s with family!
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year!
Here are a couple of fun pocket tips:
- Use your dot roller tape to gently adhere your pieces of Ephemera to the outside of the pockets for added dimension.
- Layer pieces of your favorite paper under the large bottom pocket to add color!

But the prettiest sight to see, is the holly that will be
On your own front door”
Creating your set of three! So easy and fun to do, when you’re working with a Simple Stories kit! All the colors and ephemera coordinate together so beautifully!
A few fun tips:
- Choose the ONE sticker or card you want to create your design around for each TN cover
- Choose 1-2 coordinating background papers
- Gather 7-10 pieces of coordinating ephemera
Now this is important: grab your favorite cup of cocoa, tea or coffee and……
- Enjoy the process of “playing” with the color design!
So let’s take a closer look at each TN and how I decorated them. I’ll share a few tips with each one.

You’ll notice with this TN, the coordinating bookmark has the baking goods going around the “Be Merry” Circle! It makes it look like they’re dancing and ad’s a fun element to the design!
Creative tip:
- Make paper clips out of stickers! You can see here I created a paper clip from the elf shoes sticker!!

When I first get a kit, I absolutely love going through all the pieces slowly and thinking of ways to cut, paste and have fun!
Creative Tips!
- Girl! Cut up those cards! I had fun fussy cutting the girl holding all the Christmas packages!
- Buy a large circle punch … you won’t regret it! Here I used it to bring a pop of green to the bookmark! What do you think?

Creative Tips
- Cut a circle with your circle punch, place it atop a doily and embellish! Voila! Instant pop!
- Create a scene combining chip board elements and stickers! It gives a fabulous 3-D effect to your project!
