Planning Happy Days!
Planning Happy Days!

Hello sweet friends! It’s Kylie back on the blog with you today and I am sharing how I have been planning my May with my new A5 Teal planner. I truly love this colour….

I decided the new ‘Oh Happy Day’ collection by Simple Stories would be a perfect match for this planner. The colours seem to really stand out against each other. I wasted no time creating some dashboards and dividers as well as filling those pockets with loads of cuteness.Seeing it open on my desk really does make me feel happy!

There are so many cute icons included with the Bits & Pieces.I decided to keep a few of my favourites in the pockets as well as some of the 3 x 4 elements. That Llama is SO cute!

At the opening of my planner I created a half circle dashboard which I will most likely move around from section to section in my planner. I first cut an A5 sized piece of paper and using a dinner plate (of all things,) I used it as a template to get a nice curved edge before trimming it down. The pom pom trim was from my stash but gave a lovely finished edge. I embellished it with some of the cute chipboard stickers.

I created a divider for May using several of the papers layered over each other. The scalloped border sticker framed my divider with a nice edge before I added in some stickers as well as some die cuts from the Bits and Pieces.

Recently I tried some of the Appointment Weekly inserts…..Um, hello where have you been all my life?? …..I instantly fell in love with these and the ease in which I could plan out my whole week.I will definitely be using more of these in the future……

I added some of the Oh Happy Day washi tape as a decorative border and also down the binder holes as reinforcement. Pink date stickers were added from the Numbers Sticker Tablet.

Seeing my week in this format worked really well for me in helping to stay organised. Using some alpha dies from my stash I cut the month out and adhered through the note section of my pages. The 4 x 6 sticker tablet was perfect for these inserts and I love how much colour they give my planner.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have enjoyed seeing some of my May planner.
