Bootiful Memories!
August 16 2019 – My Carpe Diem Admin
Hi friends! Mik here today with a new blog entry.
I’ve just created a new TN set up to share with you today using the Happy Haunting collection. I love how Traci Reed has mixed flowers, pink and Halloween. It’s the cutest collection in a while, and I love it!
Halloween holds so many good memories which we can eternalize on layouts, sn@p!, minialbuns, planners and funny journal, don’t you think?
Three covers for my “bootiful” memories.
I started by cutting three 12”x12” papers, and here they are: 4x6 elements, Hocus Pocus, Bootiful. All cut out to the same measure in 8 ¼” x 5 ¾”, to make the background on my notebook inserts.
For the first cover I used a 4x6 elements. To decorate it, I chose two cards from 4x6 elements paper and some bits & pieces.
Here I can write some funny information about this journal or put on a picture on it. I haven’t decided yet. What do you think would look better?
On the second cover I used Hocus Pocus Paper. 4”x4” black cardstock cut then glued with a 4”x4” card from 4”x4” elements paper. A little sewing and some ephemeras. It was a cute Halloween cover and I loved it!
Finally, last but not least, I went for bootiful paper. Here I cut a gravestone from 4x6 elements to make my background. I mixed some ephemeras and combo stickers to give it a funny and “bootiful” cover for my notebook insert.
I absolutely love what it looks like. I hope you can be inspired by my ideas.
