Christmastime in your Spiral Planner!

Hi friends! It’s time to begin setting up our planners for December, So I wanted to share how I got creative and used the Holly Jolly Collection from Simple Stories in my “Oh Happy Day” Spiral! 
The Holly Jolly mini sticker booklet has everything you need to set up your monthly view on your calendar page!
2 Fun tips:
- Before you begin decorating, place small sticky notes on important dates and events, this way you won’t place a sticker where it shouldn’t be lol!
- Choose your favorite square stickers and place a couple across your month on day’s you know have no major events.
I love adding florals to my monthly spreads!
A few fun tips:
- Cut through the floral stickers while they’re still in your sticker book, then simply peel and stick to your calendar.
- “Live on the wild side”
… and don’t feel as if you need to stay “In The Square” lol! It adds dimension when you have your ephemera and stickers moving outside of one box… into another!

Have you ever thought of using your circle stickers as ornaments?
Creative tip:
- Choose three circle stickers, one larger than the other two.
- Place them each at a different length
- Draw your toppers (little half squares)
- Then from a horizontal line above, draw a vertical line down to each circle. Voila! Notice I have them hanging from a “word” strip!
I love getting creative with the dashboard each month! I grab my favorite card or piece of ephemera and then work around it!
Creative tip: Go off center and…. in different directions with your creative pieces. Funny how we feel, we have to stay in the center, isn’t it lol!!

Creative Tips:
- Use little stickers as point markers for a list you’re making (here I used pinecones)
- Decide on a theme for your page. You’ll notice here my theme was “going shopping”… so I created a line of gift shops from the houses at the top of the page, and then a scooter with presents below!
