Gather Beauty!

Hello everyone, it is Kelly here today with a new blog! For the month May I decided to create another monthly spread with the gorgeous Spring Farmhouse collection. This time I used a blank note paper and the ‘this month’ page that you can find in all the weekly insert sets from Carpe Diem planner.

I often get a lot of crafty inspiration when scrolling through Instagram. For this spread I had an idea to create layered butterflies as the main decorative element. I used my Silhouette (you can use any other cutting machine) and cut out different sizes of a butterfly from different scrapbook papers. For a fun dimensional effect I only glued them in the middle so the wings could pop up a bit.

In the latest Say Cheese 4 collection you can find different stencils. To create a background on my spread I used two stencils (#10764 and #10766) and light green ink from my stash. I added a few of the dots and diamond sparkles on both pages. Love the way that looks, you can use that on every planner page and easily write over it!

When I start creating and planning with a collection, I love to place all the bits and pieces in a tray on my desk to see everything I have and to get inspired. The collection also comes with a gorgeous set of washi tape!
