Botanical Secret Garden in my A5 Planner

I would love to escape in my very own secret garden. The Simple Vintage Botanicals offers a collection of extraordinary beauty from the papers, stickers, bits & pieces, frames and washi tapes. Having so many beautiful elements to work with, I feel like I've created my own secret garden in my Cream Blossom A5 Planner.

In order to create my so called secret garden, my dashboard need to have that botanical garden "first impression" appeal. I imagine my garden with many beautiful butterflies flying around. 

I layered a couple of the same color butterflies. I glued the middle part of the butterflies and I lifted both sides of the wings to give it that 3D effect.  

 My planner set up wouldn't be complete without decorating my pockets with some gorgeous pieces from this collection. 

 I wanted to create a little of that "vintage" feel so I used my edge distresser all around the sides of the paper. I love adding colored ink to the edges for that finishing look. I also tore the paper as you can see on the top and folded it so that the gold washi I added is peeking a little behind it.

 I've created a bookmark by cutting one of the paper from the 6x8 pad with the 3 butterflies on it. I cut it into the size I wanted and I added the "important" tab on the bottom right. 

 I will use this bookmark with my note pad to list "important" things I need to do.

 I created another page in my planner to hold some of the 3x4 elements by adding the clear self adhesive pocket. I just love having a little bit of gold pieces throughout my planner set up.

I thought it would be fun to use one of the layered frames to beautify my planner even more. I cut up the 4x6 elements and added it behind the frame and voila! It's so simple but yet so gorgeous.

I used mostly the combo sticker to decorate my weekly layout for the first week of June. I love how it turned out.

 We will be celebrating my son's 11th Birthday so I decided to highlight and focus on his birthday by using the Alpha stickers.

 I fell in love with the butterflies washi right away. Isn't gorgeous? You can add it anywhere in your planner and it will look just as amazing.
