The Value Of A Moment!
The Value Of A Moment!

Don't you think that we all need this little reminder that today is our day? Memories are the best treasure of the heart and are our diamonds of the past. Sometimes the only thing left with us are our memories.

Hello everyone … it's Henny here today sharing a new blog post. I've created this new project using the new collection called "Heart". When I saw this collection it reminded me so much of my beloved Dad who is in Heaven. I wanted to use this kit to journal about my Dad but before I did that I managed to use some of the papers and die cuts as my new setup for my Carpe Diem A5 planner.

As you can see my planner is never finished without decorating the planner pockets! I used a bunch of the die cuts to decorate the pockets, as well as the slide pocket where I just tucked in an inspirational quote from one of the papers. Talking about the inspirational quotes, the quotes from this sheets of paper, are perfect to be used on a card making project as well as memory keeping projects.

Here is a little bit of a close up look of the main planner dashboard I created. Using 4 different sheets of patterned papers I layered them and then staggered them vertically up the page to show this layered effect. Before sewing them all together I created a pocket on the back of this dashboard (next picture) .

The pictures above show you the back side of the dashboard. I have always loved making lots of pockets in all of my set ups for my planners and TNs. Once I had positioned the pockets to my liking I sewed them all together. Now we have more pockets to store stickers, or stamps, or metal cutting dies, washi samplers, etc. The heart print on this paper is my favorite paper from this collection. Don't you think that it is just lovely?

Another beautiful inspirational quote paper I used is from the 6x8 paper pad. I taped the washi down on the side and hole punched it to insert it into the planner. Nothing fancy just more inspirational quotes for my planner I love to see and always a good reminder.

For my July monthly spread I used the stickers from this collection and here is how it looks before the pen.

I am still working on the overall and am creating more dashboards, pockets and planner pages using the rest of the products from collection, but I'm loving how it has turned out so far.

It's a pretty easy and simple set up, but I hope it still gives you an idea on how to start yours.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my blog. I hope to see you again next time soon.
