Planning With Heart!
Planning With Heart!

Hello planner friends! It’s Kylie back with you today and I’m sharing some of my latest planner set up’s and spreads with you. Lately I have had two planners I’ve been using at once- My A5 Robin’s Egg planner and my Typewriter Circles Traveler’s Notebook. The A5 planner, I have been using for journaling and the TN for my monthly planning. I’ve been using the ‘Heart’ collection by Simple Stories to add some beautiful colour and décor to my pages. It was the perfect match for both planners.

I’ve always loved using a monthly overview for my planning. It’s great to have all upcoming events and things to remember all on the same pages. I’ve used some of the numbers from the Numbers Sticker Tablet to mark my dates and I’ve also used lots of the ‘Heart’ 6 x 4 stickers.

I like to keep my A5 planner mostly on my desk, whereas my TN is the perfect size for slipping into my bag for out and about.

I added some of the die cuts and created some tags from the papers to add into my pockets. Not only does it make my planner pockets look pretty on my desk, it is also great if I do take it out with me to have supplies on hand in the one spot. I also keep some papers from the 6 x 8 paper pad tucked in too.

I went a little crazy with dividers in my A5 planner but I just couldn’t help myself with the beautiful designs and prints that feature on the Heart papers. For my opening divider I created as the name suggests, a heart! Multiple hearts layered together from different papers.

I created 3 different dividers for my planner and made each of them unique in their own way…

I did lots of fussy cutting for this divider. The diamonds from the ‘Treasured Memory’ paper and the flowers and leaves from the ‘Missing You’ paper. I added them to my divider including some machine stitching over the top for texture and dimension. The cute ruffle I made from some of the co-ordinating washi tape.

I couldn’t resist the Heart on the 3 x 4 elements paper. It was a centre piece feature for my final divider.

For my journaling pages I mostly use the grid paper inserts. They are perfect for helping me keep my handwriting neat and tidy! I’ve also added some of the SNAP pocket page inserts for my memory keeping. I have added washi tape to the edge and punched the binder holes to fit inside my planner. These are also great for creating a mood board for the month too. They are a little wider than my planner pages but this doesn’t bother me. It all adds character to my planner.

I hope you have enjoyed the little sneak peep inside my July planning today and it inspires you with your own planning. Until next time,
